My saviour or undoing?..

this new little gem was just delivered yesterday... LITTLE ..Hah!! the bloody thing is a BEAST!
- already we've had to move it over to Jamie's side of the bed because knowing me I'd trip over the damn thing in a second !

Now WHAT is it you ask.....ahhhh Yes that...
It's an Arc Trainer... again for some .. a "huh what'? Yea .. me too before we started doing our homework.

As some of you know & are probably bored to tears of hearing about I injured my ankle about ..hmmm -well almost 2 bloody yrs ago now... & even to this day running is pretty much out of the question unless I want to limp for the rest of the week. Yes all the specialist can estimate is that I did some pretty permanent ligament damage . Thanks! & Yiippee skip!
So needless to say .. cardio as I knew it is over ... can't just strap on the old shoes & take off anymore.. & my treadmill was gathering a serious layer of dust..
It now happily has found a home hopefully making my mother a little bit healthier out there living in the middle of nowhere!

Sooooo to cut this painfully long story short...( sorry I'm tired...~Lol~)
Jamie & I decided we needed something that we could still use here at home .. since his schedule does NOT allow time to go to a gym & I need something I can do here so there are NO excuses!
So this baby was & hopefully will be the answer to all our woes.. it supposedly is even more "joint friendly" than an elliptical & gives you an AWESOME & efficient work out !!

whooo hooo ! let's hope eh?

No doubt it's your savior! I love the ARC trainer at the gym -- favorite piece of cardio equipment hands down.

wow, nice - haven't seen those before, I will have to look it up. Seems very high tech-ish and easy on the ol' ankle.

Can't wait to hear how sweaty it makes ya!

Is it anything like the Gazelle thingie you see on Infomercials? Kinda looks like a high tech one. Congrats on finding something that will work for you! You'll have to tell us all about it.

I am trying to decide if it looks fun or like too much work. I love getting new equipment. It is almost as good as getting new workout clothes but a lot more expensive.
