Where do I start with all of this??
Well it's Monday morning & Jamie & I got back late last night from the most AMAZING weekend !
If meeting all you Blends can be this much fun -I vote we all get on this NOW!
I feel like I'm some sorta new convert...trying to explain how Wonderful a new way of life is & convince you all to TRY it! ~lol
I'll just give you the short version of this ...'cause I know as soon as Stef gets to her Dad's tonight, she'll be wanting to share..& I don't wanna hog all the fun!
I can't say it enough that she & Russ are just as wonderful & special as you might imagine- we had such a great time,that I really was sad we had to leave to come home last night!
I knew things were in for a good time when we got to the meeting place Sat AM & any worries I might have had about not being able to recognize Stef were immediately washed away, & we pretty much ran across the concourse area to greet each other with a big hug!
After a brief introduction between Jamie & Russ the 4 of us were up the Moutain for the first of many hours of skiing adventures & A LOT of talking...It's amazing to feel like you're with a long lost friend who you've been separated from for some silly reason!
Straight off the top, I have to say both She & Russ are great skiers & I being NOT such a fantastic skier was thankful for them waiting for me constantly & watching me learn new things.. ( thanks again you guys! )---But I Still HATE MOGULS!! ;P Bahahahaha!!!
& it was great that Jamie & Russ seemed to click immediately & got on like gang busters & up on the mountain are like two big kids who wanna play ALLLLL day until someone MAKES them come in! ~lol
& the APRES ( after) Ski time.... Well now THAT was a Blast! Hot tubs, good times good company & more teaching..This time Stef & Russ will tell you it was me teaching Stef a bad new word...SQUISHEES.. tee hee!!!
We definitely had a VERY GOOD evening :D- even hooked up for dinner with another couple we met in the Hot tub- who we had to explain to several time that we all hadn't been friends for YEARS ~lol
Sunday was yet another picture perfect day on the slopes!-- Oh yea whooo hoo very Lucky us!
It really is so beautiful & breath taking up there- ( Stef has TONES of pics so I'll let her show you them all) ... In the mean time I'll post this one of the four of us!
Needless to say-I'll have many many fond memories of this past weekend & look forward to the next time!... any one wanna join us for NEXT year?? :)
