Just got back from the school & have tucked kids into bed.. have been a good girl & entered all my food in Fitday... NOW I finally to tell you about the thrilling adventures I've gotten my self into..
My daughter Jessica, is singing in the choir in the production of "Joseph & the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat" ( who made that damn title anyways?- it's a bitch to type when you're tired! ~lol) & they, for whatever reason they have decided to do -not one , not two, but FOUR performances this week! So I being the good Mommy I am -went yesterday afternoon( then had to run off to put in an eight hour shift.) Bought tickets for her Dad & his girlfriend to go last night ( YES I bought them... why - I don't know- except I have very nice manners some times --Bllaaa )- oh well he'll pay me back but anywho.. So I got to do all my shopping today do running around for activities & then Go again tonight (Yippee!) & then I get to go AGAIN on Thursday for the closing night ( couldn't miss the closing now could I??...& I get to take My PARENTS- who are the most particular folks you'll ever meet..they'll probably want to go 2 hours early to get the BEST seats! akkkk!
Now bear in mind this is NOT a fancy production .. we ain't on Broadway now kids.. heck this isn't even a High School Production...this is Elementary School people!!...The Star is 12 yrs old at best!!. they are singing along with the soundtrack !!- all be it with the voices very low in the back ground.. but I have to go ...I have to watch her in the choir ..singing her heart out, Looking so intense ( or maybe that's just abject terror 'cause I'm waving at her from the front row! ~lol
I dunno...I just know that I love my daughter very much- & as Lori might appreciate.."I just don't wanna miss a thing!"

Awww. . .cute.
Sounds like you do deserve a reward. Don't forget to be good to yourself too!
Best,
Pers
PS Thanks for all the funny emails--I really liked the laughing babies!
You guys are starting to making motherhood almost sound attractive... =P
I just found your email in my spam filter. I'll be giving you a ring as soon as I can. Things are a bit busy for me unless it's a crazy hour (it's currently 4:25 am - don't think it's a good time to call!).
xo, Rachel
I know what you mean there. Time goes so fast with them. Even my 17 year old going to work now makes me emotional. It's weird.
Lori
Oh I can't wait for all that stuff. It sounds like fun.
Mom of the Year, for sure! I always remember my parents showing up for that kind of stuff. Back then it didn't mean much, but now that I have a kid of my own, I realize how important it was that they were there.
Pictures?
Although don't take a picture of her while she's in the spotlight. I'm still getting over the episode during my 1st spelling bee where my mom took my picture right as I was about to spell FRACTION. I totally froze when the flash bulb went off.
You know what, on second thought, no pictures, please.
Absolutely! And since we're handing out awards, I'm gonna give you one for best Ex Wife Award!
Wow back form the gym & there's ALL sorts of things to read ;)
Pers..you're welcome! - I loved the babies too!
Rachel- NO please don't call at 4:30AM.~lol~..although I gotta ask WHY you're up ?!
Rod..I guess time will tell eh?
Lori.. I can only imagine!- Glad I'm not the only sappy one! ;)
Mari- yep _ it'll be sooner than you think! - time flies that's for sure!
Katie- OH NO!! ok yes there will be pictures...but NOT at a critical moment!- I'll file that one for future reference!!
& Deb...glad YOU'RE handing out the awards ...'cause somedays I just don't think HE'd agree with THAT one! ~LOL
So tonight.. geee no show to go to.. just ..let's see - soccer practice for one & Beavers for the other!
- does the excitement ever end?? ;P
I feel ya on the mommy thing..I got a little teary watching Sadie go to her first dance class(in a looooong time) just because the look on her face was so incredibly HAPPY like she wanted to burst out of her skin, and she didn't know I was watching. ahhhh, good times.
You definately get the award; there's no way I could sit through all that. I'm going to be brutally honest - boring. I remember Alexis' first concert with those flutey things that make the annoying noise. Well they're all honking away like tortured geese, it was horrible!!! I just burst out laughing, like the giggling loud type. Then my SIL starts too; what a scene. We couldn't stop, she won't go to these things with me anymore. Thats a good mom you are!!!!
Janel.. it's neat when we get to watch when they don't know isn't it? :)
Dub..sleep..what's that????
Trace... it's a RECORDER! Bhahahaha!!! oh yea... I am now hummin "hot cross buns"..Aggggggggggggggg NOOOOOOOO!! just when I thought the therapy had worked!
The Joys of parenthood!
