Ok.. So I've been double tagged!

Our ever funloving Katie has started yet another round of the "TAG you're it game.."
& as I said on her blog it beats the heck outta the drivel I've been posting while sick & whatnot!

SO ...the rules are..
Each player starts with 7 random facts/habits about themselves. People who are tagged need to write on their own blog about their seven things, as well as these rules. You need to choose 7 people to get tagged and list their names. Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them that they have been tagged and to read your blog!

So 7 random ( & NOT previously revealed) :P facts about me are..

1. I'm left handed .. which means I'm creative..or evil depending on your background

2. I learned how to drive a car on a standard.. which at the time I though was dreadfully unfair of my Dad.. but to this day ..I prefer them especially in bad weather.

3. I used to love playing "mermaid" up at our summer cabin.. suit taken off & slapped on the log.. ahhhh the feel of the water..& to be that unselfconscious again!

4. One of Jamie's nicknames for me is "Angel" which I love dearly but sometimes don't feel worthy of.

5. I've worked 16 yrs now at the same job that I started when I was 21 & right out of nursing school. I never intended to stay this long!

6. much as I try to be "avant garde" or easy going..I have a need for my decorating to balance..right now I have 2 hanging baskets that are driving me nuts because one has turned out to be yellow & red --& the other purple & red.. Yea bizarre

7. I have had all my rabies shots... ~LOL~ yea really -I'm in a medical text book somewhere..I was bit by a rabid bat when I was 10.. it was flopping in the mud ..I thought it was a frog ok?

Ok now quickly & then back to work-I tag..

1. Marijayde
2. Carol
3. Kana
4. Chantal
5. Donna
6. Janel
7. & one for the boys -Troy - zooman

I feel exactly the same way about driving a standard. It was hard to learn that way (especially when I backed the truck straight into a ditch . . .), but it really makes a difference when you can control the gears.

I love the mermaid fact! How nice it would be.

Miss you.

Too funny!

So you are in a medical book, eh? Now that's something that not everybody can say.

And how about those Anaheim Ducks? I actually watched about 5 minutes of the game last night when they finished off the Red Wings.

be good.

I had to learn a stick shift too .... only way I could get my license ... and I hated my dad for making me learn on hills. But I do value it and if I'm ever on The Amazing Race, I'll succeed at that.

Yikes on the bat.

Thanks for playing.

Thanks for the tag! Ha ha, you silly! As soon as I get 2 seconds to think about this I'll try to get it done. The hardest part is going to try and get 7 other people who haven't already been tagged since we seem to run in the same circles.

I love driving a stick, unless I'm talking on my cell phone. We're saving my truck with the stick to make Megan (2) learn to drive on it, by which time we figure sticks won't exist anymore and she'll really hate us.

I wish someone called me Angel - how sweet!

Ugh on the rabies shots!

Oh, you are so sweet to play. Loved reading your post. I too was taught
on a standard and it was unfair.I almost got killed.

lmao about the bat... I too am left handed (and have red hair - does that mean I would have been burned as a witch in old Salem?), and learned on a stick... it was actually great... mom would drive and I would tell her when I could hear it was time to shift... she would do the clutch and I would do the stick shift.

Hey my friend! I tagged you too late!! Bummer!

I too learned to drive a standard first. It was a VW Scirraco in 1994. Sorry Dad!

Also, my pet name from Russ is "angel"....what a coincidence. I told him shortly after I met him that he was "heaven" to me and he said that I was his Angel....It stuck.

Miss you! =)

I have never learned to drive a standard, but one day I want to just for the heck of it. Thanks for sharing your 7 facts!

I'm one of the few that never drove standard. Maybe someday, when I'm rich enough to afford a sports car...

Thanks for the tag!

Hey you! I first learned how to drive on a standard too! I was even in town and forced to do it, I was scared to death!!

ALL your shots? Wow, don't think I've had one since I was 7. Whoops.
