Well almost! ..~lol ~ I've finally bitten the bullet & have an appointment for tomorrow AM to have some one DO something with my hair! Those of you in Blendville that regularly go & get your hair cut or coloured or whatnot.. I envy you. I've had long hair for as long as I can remember & the last time I had someone professionally put colour or streaks in it was in ..ummmmm 2000~!
Yea pretty pathetic eh?? Part of that is that I've had all sorts of ups & downs with my world & have actually had periods of such extreme stress - that CHUNKS of my hair fell right out.
Scary to say the least..Finding the spots that I couldn't see were... well traumatic & horrible -I don't wish that upon anyone! Try having someone tell you that there is a huge bald patch at the back of your head...It isn't fun.. & since then I've had to really baby it to have those areas grow back in..
Now I've decided that everything is healthy enough to actually do something..& frankly I'm bored with my hair -not in a" OK cut it all off way" -- but I think I'm ready for SOMETHING different..
Any suggestions?
I've got till tomorrow Am to figure out what to tell him.. :P

Have fun with your new 'do. No recommendations because I hardly do anything with mine either. I've been coloring at home (used the L'Oreal Colour Expert and wouldn't recommend it) so I think I'm going to a pro next time.
I know you'll look as GORGEOUS as ever. How about some long bangs?

Funny you asked, I just had my hair straightened 2 weekends ago. I have really thick, wavy hair that gets frizzy especially in the summertime. Other than that, I just get a nice cut, but no coloring. I figured I'd get that done when I start getting gray hairs.
Anyways, sorry for hijacking your blog. My advice is to find a capable hair dresser and have fun! Good luck! I'm sure you'll still look beautiful no matter what you do.
Ooooooh...I can't wait to see what you choose to do...hurry up already. Any thoughts yet?? I just got a trim and a highlight touchup Saturday...I LOVE getting my hair done, it is the ONE girly thing I do.

No worries Chantal.. Sometimes I write lots too~ ;) & I WISH I had think hair *sigh* or at least something besides thin fine hair that sometimes goes in waves & ringlets or frizz or whatever...but never what I want!
& Christie.. see-- I so wish I took more time to do these "girly" things..So I didn't feel so "uncool" & uneducated going in there! :P
I'm terrible about taking care of my hair professionally, too, so I'm not much help. But I do want to offer sympathy about the chunks of hair falling out! Just from stress? Oh, Lala, that makes me feel for you. As if the stress isn't bad enough.
Have you seen Catherine Zeta-Jones hair in Ocean's 12? I loved it. Come to think of it, you remind me of her- similar coloring, hair and skin, and features.
Hope it went ok, I have thick hair so I can't even begin to give you advice for your thin hair. Your hairdresser will know best I think.

Ok, so I'm dying to see the hair. Lets see it. I have my hair done every six weeks. If I didn't, I'd have a head of gray hair.
No not too late...I'm on the other side of the damn continent rememeber?? ~lol It's only 9:30 Am here! & I'll be leaving soon..My parents came out with some big ferns for the back yard soooo I guess cardio will have to wait until tonight at work! __- & I was hoping to get rid of my nerves on the eliptical or something!! ~lol Thanks for all the kind words & suggestions.. I get my hair colored (weaved) every 8 weeks. When I am feeling really froggy, I get a cut. I just got a cut last week before Put-In-Bay and a color is coming up on Thursday before vacation.

I'm late so my input doesn't matter, but I wouldn't have had much to contribute anyway because I cut my own hair and don't trust hair dressers!!
